In Uttar Pradesh, a case for rape and criminal assault on a woman has been lodged against a then BSP government Minister Awadhpal Singh Yadav, his sitting MLC brother Chandra Pal Singh Yadav, his son Ranjeet Singh Yadav and a woman in Etah district.Quoting police sources our Allahabad correspondent reports that FIR has been lodged at Aliganj police station of the district. The victim had lodged a complaint to the State Woman Commission against the former Animal Husbandry Minister and others and the Commission had sought a report from district police on September 26. On the direction of the Commission the FIR has been lodged against them.In another incident, two women of the district have lodged complaint to the State Woman Commission against the Samajwadi Party leader and Chairman of Zila Panchayat Jugendra Singh Yadav for rape. He is brother of SP MLA Rameshwar Yadav. The matter is under investigation.
