A court in Argentina sentenced the country's last military ruler General Reynaldo Bignone, to 25 years in prison. Six officials from the same era were also handed jail terms. <br/> <br/>The verdict followed a five month trial in which the General, 82, was found guilty of ordering the illegal detention and torture of 56 people under military rule in the late 1970s. <br/> <br/>Human Rights Group said it was a vindication for the estimated thirty thousand people killed or disappeared. <br/>
