Former Andhra Pradesh CM K Rosaiah resign

Tamil Nadu Governor-designate and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Tuesday resigned his membership from the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council. He handed over the resignation letter to Council chairman Dr Chekrapani in Hyderabad this afternoon. Rosaiah became a member of the AP Legislative counciil in 2008. He has served as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh from Septermber 2009 to Novermber 2010 as a member of the council. Rosaiah will be sworn in as governor of Tamil Nadu tomorrow evening at a simple ceremony to be held at the Raj Bhavan in Chennai.
