Forex reserves down by $672.4 million to $314.87 billion

The Reserve Bank of India has said that the country's foreign exchange reserves dipped by 672.4 million US dollars to 314.878 billion dollar due to a decline in core currency assets.As per the data, total reserves were up by 419.4 million dollar to 315.55 billion during the previous reporting week. The RBI added that foreign currency assets, a major constituent of overall reserves, decreased by 664.3 million dollar to 289.398 billion dollar for the week ended November 21.The apex bank also said that country's gold reserves remained unchanged at 19.738 billion dollar for the reporting week.
