In the forex market, the rupee on 27th March 2023, Monday appreciated around 11 paise against the US dollar. The domestic unit closed at 82 rupees and 37 paise against the US currency.
 
The dollar index, which indicates the US currency's strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, was flat to trade at 103.11 in intra-day trade.
