Foreign Exchange Earnings, FEEs, from tourism registered nearly 22 per cent increase last year as compared to FEEs of 2011. FEEs in terms of rupees during 2012 were 94,487 crore as against 77,591 crore in 2011. An official release said, Foreign Tourist Arrivals, FTAs, in the country also showed 5.4 per cent increase during 2012 as against FTAs of the previous year. FTAs during 2012 were 66.48 lakh as compared to 63.09 lakh during 2011.
