The Bangladesh government has decided to honour the foreign nationals and expatriate Bangladeshis for their contributions to the Liberation War in 1971. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters in Dhaka after an inter-ministerial meeting on ‘Contribution of Foreigners in the War of Liberation’, Foreign Minister Dipu Moni said two committees have been formed to formulate the guidelines for selection and also prepare a comprehensive list of the people to be honoured. <br/><br/>She said the committees will submit their report within six months and the government will honour the selected people while celebrating the upcoming 40th anniversary of independence of the country.
