The number of foreigners arriving in India on e-Tourist Visa rose by about 180 percent this year. An ASSOCHAM report released in Kolkata yesterday said that 43,833 tourists arrived in India on E-Tourist Visa at the end of May this year, compared to 15,659 during May 2015. <br/><br/>This high growth may be attributed to introduction of e-Tourist Visa for 150 countries as against the earlier coverage of 43 countries, the report said. The e-Tourist vis was introduced on 27th November 2014.
