Foreign workers in Qatar can now leave country without prior permission from employers

<span style="color: #222222;">In Qatar, the long-awaited reform of  controversial foreign workers exit visa system came into force today. This was announced on the twitter by Interior Ministry of Qatar in Doha. Under the new law, all but five per cent of a company's workforce, except those in most senior positions, can leave without prior permission from employers.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Those not allowed to leave Qatar for any reason can file a complaint to the Expatriate Exit Grievance Committee that will take a decision within three working days. There are at least two million foreign workers in Qatar.</span><br />
