A host of foreign teams will take part in the International Football Championship for Expo 2014 Unity World Cup to be held in Panaji from December 5. Organised by John Paul II Foundation for Sports, teams such as Brazil, Nigeria, Ghanna, Egypt and Sri Lanka will participate in the tournament. Among the foreign teams, Brazil has four players who have played for their national team. The foreign teams will arrive in Panaji on December 4. Convener, Organising Committee of the tournament, Fr Alfred Vaz, said in Panaji today that talks are also on with Germany, Italy, Portugal and Australia and the outcome will be known by the end of this week.
