Foreign secretary meet: India to demand concrete action against 26/11 suspects

India will demand an affirmative action from Pakistan regarding conviction of Mumbai terror attack accused. An Indian delegation led by foreign Secretary Nirupma Rao will leave for Pakistan on Thursday to hold bilateral dialogue on Mumbai attack, Kashmir issue and Confidence Building Measures. Highly placed sources in External Affairs Ministry said in New Delhi today that all documents pertaining to Mumbai attacks have been handed over to Pakistan and India expects concrete results from the trials in Pakistan. It was pointed out that India has no objection to a Judicial Commission from Pakistan to visit India. Pakistan is yet to place a formal request in this regard. The External Affairs Minister S M Krishna and Secretary Nirupma Rao will be visiting Myanmar tomorrow to hold dialogue with the Civil Government there for the first time. It will take stock of broad based exchange on the issues of connectivity, I T, telecommunication and infrastructure among other things.
