Foreign investors pumped in Rs 6080 cr into Indian debt market in October so far

Foreign investors pumped in 6,080 crore rupees into the Indian debt market in October so far. With this, the total investment by the overseas investors in the debt market reached nearly 35,200 crore rupees this year so far.
 
However, Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) pulled out over 20,300 crore rupees from the Indian equities markets this month, so far. This came after Foreign Portfolio Investors sold nearly 15,000 crore from equities in September. With this, the total investment by FPIs in Indian equities has reached one lakh crore rupees this year so far.
 
Before the outflow, FPIs continuously pumped in over 1.74 lakh crore rupees in the Indian equities in the last six months from March to August.
