Foreign investment in stock market reaches 91 thousand 8 hundred 92 crore rupees

Foreign funds poured in almost 3,000 crore rupees in the domestic equity market so far, this month amid renewed optimism about the economy and a delayed tapering of the US monetary stimulus.Total foreign investment in the stock market reached 91 thousand 8 hundred 92 crore rupees, so far in 2013.SEBI sources said Foreign Institutional Investors invested around 28,700 crore rupees in stocks during the past two months of September and October. However, they have withdrawn a net 53,070 crore rupees from the debt market since the beginning of the year.
