In Assam, a major disaster was averted when the forces recovered three powerful Improvised Explosive Devices from the busy Vehbari area in Kamrup (Rural) district today. Police said, the explosives were detected during a joint patrol by the Army and police at Vehbari near Bagsa.The Army's bomb defusal squad defused the IEDs. One person has been detained in this connection. Investigations are on to ascertain who had planted the explosives in the busy market area.
