A terrorist was killed in an encounter with security forces in Kupwara district of north Kashmir today.Defence Spokesman Lt Col J S Brar said the gunbattle broke out in Rashampora village of Kupwara, 100 kms from Srinagar, on Friday evening when troops launched a cordon and search operation. He said the firefight had now stopped and search operations were on in the village. The identity and group affiliation of the ultra is yet to be ascertained.
