<br/>Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee says, he expects food prices to start falling with the harvest of winter crop this month and also because of imports of essential commodities. Speaking in Shillong, he said the government is doing whatever is possible. <br/><br/>The Private Sector Undertakings are also importing. He said prices of sugar internationally have come down because of supply from Brazil, and hoped it would fall further. Mukherjee said very few countries produce pulses and the international prices are also high.
