Congress President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi on Saturday discussed with Food Minister K V Thomas about the steps required to check price rise.

Thomas said later that Sonia Gandhi was concerned about high food inflation and they discussed how to tackle this problem. He said they also reviewed the progress on the proposed Food Security legislation.
