Food inflation is expected to come down in coming weeks. This was stated by the Minister of state for Agriculture Arun Yadav in New Delhi on Friday. Mr Yadav said that the high yield of pulses and proposed price index will curb the rising food prices. Adding, the new price index is being discussed in union cabinet, he said that government is taking various measures to increase the food production. Mr Yadav also said that government is considering to amend the Multi State Cooperative Society Act to ratify the functional and structural constraints occurring in strengthening rural infrastructure. He also noted that government is focusing on the inclusive growth of all the sections of society.
