<span style="color: #222222;">Maharashtra Cultural Affairs Minister Amit Deshmukh today said that folk arts representing folk enlightenment and folklore for centuries have made an important contribution to the cultural glory of the state.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In a press release, he informed that a dialogue series titled Lokkala Rang' tracing the history of the century old art form will soon be aired on the Facebook page and YouTube channel of the Directorate of Cultural Affairs.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He further said that the series is jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India and the Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Maharashtra.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The weeklong series beginning from Monday will be broadcast daily on the Facebook page and YouTube channel of the Directorate of Cultural Affairs, Mumbai at 7:00 pm.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The series will begin with a brief introduction by Dr. Ganesh Chandanshive, a scholar of folk art, and a brief introduction to all folk art.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Deshmukh said that for the art lovers, it will be a golden opportunity coming directly in their hands to know everything about the traditional arts.</span><br />
