Northen Railways cancelled six trains leaving Delhi yesterday due to fog over several parts of North India.

A Railway official said that the Agra Intercity Express, the North East Express, Howrah Express, Kaifiyat Express and the Gondwana Express were among the trains which were cancelled for the day.

About 50 trains including the Rajdhani Express arrived in Delhi several hours behind their schedule.

Trains running inordinately late included the New Delhi-bound Puri Express, which was running late by a day, while Delhi- bound Brahmaputra Mail was running late by 17 hours
