Delhi witnessed season's first fog today, which engulfed the national capital delaying many flights because of poor visibility at the Indira Gandhi International Airport where low visibility procedures were implemented. <br/><br/>Five of the flights had to be diverted. The visibility was recorded at 800 metres at 5:30 this morning, which dropped to 200 metres three hours later. Delhi-bound trains from Patna, Ranchi, Howrah, Bhubaneswar and other places were also affected because of the thick fog cover. <br/><br/>The Meterological department has forecasted dense to moderate fog in Delhi NCR for the next seven days. The minimum temperature was recorded at 11 degrees Celsius.
