Fodder scam: CBI court pronounced sentences to 41 convicts

In Jharkhand, a special CBI court of Ranchi today pronounced sentences to 41 convicts of fodder scam. The court had earlier convicted 61 accused two days ago in the case relating to fraudulent withdrawals of fourteen and half crore rupees from government treasury in Jamshedpur. 20 accused were sentenced on that day itself and the remaining 41 were separately sentenced today with imprisonments of four to seven years apart from fines ranging from 40 thousand to 30 lakhs rupees. Among those 41 sentenced, there are 20 government officers and 21 suppliers.
