Two ex- Chief Ministers of Bihar- Lalu Prasad Yadav and Dr. Jagganath Mishra appeared before a special CBI Court at Ranchi to record their statements in a case of illegal withdrawals from Chaibasa treasury in connection with the fodder scam.Mr. Yadav was both the Chief Minister and the Finance Minister of the then undivided Bihar when the illegal withdrawals of large sum happened.The judge asked many questions to Mr. Yadav for well over two hours on the basis of evidence collected by the CBI.Both Mr. Yadav and Dr. Mishra have denied their involvement in the fodder scam.
