Focus on operational capability, infra & security: Air Chief at Commanders conference

Air Chief Marshal, NAK Browne has asked the Indian Air Force, IAF, to focus on three priority areas of operational capability, operational infrastructure and operational security as the Force is going through a busy and challenging period, especially in view of new inductions in its inventory. He was addressing Air Force Commanders’ Conference at the Air Headquarters in New Delhi today. An official release said, the three day bi-annual conference with a focus on Electronic Warfare and Support Systems, is being attended by the Commanders of all the Operational Commands, Training and Maintenance Commands and the Principal Staff Officers at the Air Headquarters.
During the conference, a thorough review of the external and internal security situation and its ramifications in the next two years, would be carried out. The conference would also see the Commanders discuss key issues, relating to operations, maintenance, infrastructure development, cyber security and human resources issues relating to the training of Air warriors.
