Information and Broadcasting Minister M Venkaiah Naidu has said effective communication is key to development and his focus will be on empowerment of people through information. <br/><br/>Speaking to media after taking charge of the Ministry from his predecessor Arun Jaitley today, Mr Naidu said, empowering people with information of different kinds relevant to fulfill their aspirations is very essential. He said, both official and private media will be involved in empowering people.'<br/><br/>Mr Naidu said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ushered in a process of change in the country and reoriented approach to development. He said, Government believes in undiluted and unadulterated flow of information to people. He said, his mission also will be to energize the media units and his guiding principle of communication will be development of community and the country.<br/><br/>Replying to a media query on the size of the new council of Ministers, Mr Naidu said, the idea is not to go by the size but effective utilization of talents.
