Management of global capital flows, volatility in exchange rate and financial sector reforms are expected to be discussed between India and United States as Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee embarks on a three-day visit to US this morning. The two countries will also deliberate on macro economic issues including global rebalancing and G-20. The finance minister will deliver a keynote address at the conference on ‘US-India Economic and Financial Partnership’, organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry in collaboration with the Brookings Institute of the US. Mukherjee is leading a delegation that includes RBI Governor D Subbarao, Sebi chairman U K Sinha, Economic Affairs Secretary R Gopalan, Chief Economic Advisor Kaushik Basu and several businessmen.
