Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Col Rajyavardhan Rathore has said that more than 60 per cent areas of the country will be covered by FM radio by 2020.<br/><br/>Inaugurating 1 kW FM transmitter of All India Radio Kota, he said his ministry is working for this. Col Rathore said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has chosen <br/>All India Radio for his Mann ki Baat programme because it cover around 99 percent areas of the country.<br/><br/>He said the government is working on two way communication with public to get better feedback and it helped the government to prepare and implement the policies.<br/><br/>Earlier, Col Rathore participated in Sankalp Se Siddhi New India campaign in a educational institute in Kota where he administrated new India pledge to the students. He appealed to the students to stand up against terrorism, communalism, casteism, corruption and poverty. In a another programme, the Minister planted a sapling and appealed to the students to plant more saplings for better environment.
