Finance Minister P Chidambaram has reached out to opposition BJP to get Parliament approval for the long-awaited Insurance Bill in the Winter session that began today. Talking to reporters on the sideline of a function in New Delhi today, Mr. Chidambaram said that he has met Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj to discuss various provisions of the Bill.
