<span style="color: #222222;">Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman on Thursday said the focus of the Budget 2023-24 remained on inclusive and sustainable growth keeping common man and weaker sections in mind. The Minister said, the Government has aimed at achieving saturation in implementation of schemes and &nbsp;interests of weaker sections, SC, ST, and BCs and OBCs. She said that the aspirational districts and last mile connectivity received focus in the Budget.<br />''<br />''The Minister said, 1.3 lakh crore rupees has been made available for States towards interest free loans.&nbsp; Stating that the Government has started investing in medical infrastructure even before the pandemic, Me Sitharaman said &nbsp;besides improving medical infrastructure, skill upgradation of expertise has been enhanced drastically.<br />''<br />'' On the Agriculture sector, the Minister said, by making provisions for computerisation of cooperatives, e-market, startups, a lot of value addition can be taken place in the sector. She also said, agri- cooperatives should be multi focussed and they should spend on storage for the crops they grow in their States. She also said, the agriculture sector can transform better with all the measures taken by the Government.<br />'' <br />'' Responding to questions, the Finance Minister said, programmes like One district One product are benefitting States. Ruling out allegations of reducing allocations to MG-NREGA, the Minister further said, it is a demand driven scheme, and more than allocations, funds have been spent in every year from 2014.<br />'' <br />''Asking &nbsp;the Chief Minister of Telangana not to belittle targets of five trillion dollar economy, the Minister further said, the debt of Telangana went up to over three lakh crore rupees from 60 thousand crore rupees.</span><br />
