The Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee is leaving for Washington today for a series of meetings aimed at further strengthening the economic relationship between India and United States. During his three day visit the Finance Minister will hold meetings with several key American CEOs and officials, including Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithener.A high level delegation comprising RBI Governor D Subbarao, Sebi chairman U K Sinha, Economic Affairs Secretary R Gopalan, Chief Economic Advisor Kaushik Basu and several businessmen, is also going with Mr Mukherjee.AIR correspondent reports that better economic strategies in the context of the Group of 20 nations, G-20, capital flows to advanced and emerging economies and financial sector reforms would be high on the agenda.
