The Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee is now holding discussions with the leaders of political parties to break the dead lock in Parliament on the JPC issue. Senior leaders of NDA and the Left are attending the meeting apart from the ruling combine. The meeting comes close on the heels of speaker’s meeting with the representatives of some political parties yesterday. While BJP and Left continue to be adamant on their demand of JPC, Congress says it is open to discussing this demand in Parliament.
