Finance Minister P Chidambaram has hinted at a possible vote against Sri Lanka at United Nations Human Rights Council, UNHRC later this month.
He said if the US resolution contains a demand for credible investigation, he is confident that the government will support it. Mr Chidambaram was addressing a public function at Sivaganga in Tamil Nadu yesterday.
Minister of State in Prime Minister's Office, V. Narayanasamy also said that the Centre will take an appropriate decision on the UN resolution after considering all aspects of the issue.
