Government today said it has full confidence in Chief Economic Advisor Arvind Subramanian and rejected BJP MP Subramanian Swamy's allegations against him. <br/><br/>Replying to a media query in New Delhi, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said the Chief Economic Advisor has provided valuable insights from time to time to the government. <br/><br/>He also said politicians while making comments against officers should follow discipline as they can not respond because of constraint under which they work. <br/><br/>Earlier, the BJP MP had demanded sacking of the Chief Economic Advisor alleging that he convinced Congress to have a rigid stand on GST Bill. <br/><br/>He also accused Arvind Subramanian of not being fully Indian. On Swamy's attack against the RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan, Mr. Jaitley denied the accusation that government and BJP did not defend him in the face of Mr. Swamy's criticism.
