Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will present the Union Budget in Parliament tomorrow. <br/><br/>This year's budget session is crucial as it comes after government's two very big financial decisions – Demonetization and Goods and Services Tax implementation. <br/><br/>It is also National Democratic Alliance Government's fifth and last budget presentation before the Lok Sabha polls in 2019. Mr Jaitley will present the Union Budget first in the Lok Sabha and then in the Rajya Sabha.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, Mr Jaitley examined the final draft of the General Budget at North Block this evening in the presence Ministers of State for Finance Shiv Pratap Shukla and Pon Radhakrishnan. Secretaries of the Ministry were also present. <br/><br/>Ahead of the budget presentation, the Economic Survey was tabled in both houses of Parliament on Monday by Mr. Jaitley. <br/><br/>The Economic Survey said that India's economy is picking up quite nicely, and will expand by 7 to 7.5 per cent in 2018-19 and again become the world's fastest growing major economy. There will be no separate Rail budget, as it was merged with the General Budget last year. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent spoke to a cross section of people about their expectations from the budget.
