FM Arun Jaitley to address 68th batch of IPS probationers

Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has arrived at the Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel National Police Academy in Hyderabad last evening. He will be addressing the 68th Batch of IPS probationers who completed their training at the academy. 109 IPS probationers including 26 women and 15 foreign officers will pass out from the academy after completing 45 week-long basic training at the prestigious academy. <br/><br/>The Finance Minister will be taking the salute at the Dikshant Parade this morning. Academy Director Aruna Bahuguna informed that the Prime Minister's Baton and Home Ministry's Revolver for the Best all-round IPS probationer will be presented to Sonawane Rishikesh Bhagawan. Among the 15 foreign officers, six are from Royal Bhutan Police, five from Nepal Police and four from Maldives. The IPS probationers were deployed for study during Tamil Nadu Assembly elections and at Kumbh Mela in Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh) for crowd management.
