Floyd Mayweather defeats McGregor; Extends his perfect career record to 50 fights unbeaten

In Professional Boxing, former five-weight world champion Floyd Mayweather today extended his perfect career record to 50 fights unbeaten as he defeated Mixed Martial Arts Ultimate Fighting Champion Conor McGregor at Las Vegas. Even at the age of 40, the American, who came out of retirement, outclassed the 29-year old Irishman, a first-time boxer, by technical knockout in the 10th round of the 12-round fight at the packed T-Mobile Arena. Mayweather used his vast experience to beat the exhausted McGregor and surpass heavyweight great Rocky Marciano's 49-0 record for most wins without a loss or draw. The bout has been billed as one of the richest fights of all-time.
