Floral tributes were paid to veteran freedom fighter Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya in the Central Hall of Parliament House on his birth anniversary today. Lok Sabha Speaker Mrs Meira Kumar, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Mrs Sushma Swaraj, HRD Minister Mr Kapil Sibal and sitting and former Members of Parliament paid tributes to Madan Mohan Malviya, an eminent educationist who took part in the country's struggle for freedom. A booklet containing profile of Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya, brought out in Hindi and English by the Lok Sabha Secretariat was presented to the dignitaries.<br/> <br/>Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya’s portrait was unveiled by the then President of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad in the Central Hall of Parliament House on 19 December 1957, in recognition of his outstanding services to the nation.<br/>
