Floral tributes were today paid to revolutionary freedom fighter Chittaranjan Das in the Central Hall of Parliament on his 140th birth anniversary. Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar, Union Ministers, MPs and former MPs offered flowers at the portrait of Das, endearinglycalled 'Deshabandhu'. Parliament officials, including Lok Sabha Secretary General T K Viswanathan and Rajya Sabha Secretary General V K Agnihotri, also paid their tributes.
