Floods play havoc in Bihar & UP

In Bihar normal life has been badly effected in flood effected area of the state as over 3 lakh people were hit by current flood. The worst effected area are West Champaran, Muzafarpur and Darbhanga. In Uttar Pradesh, the Flood situation is still grim and many rivers are flowing above the danger mark. Due to crack in a Charsadi Algin bridge dam this morning, over a dozen villages in Karnalganj thehsil of Gonda district have been submerged with Ghaghara water. More than fifty thousand people of about three dozen villages have been affected due to his incident. Unconfirmed reports say that some people have washed away in this sudden flood. Senior officials are now camping at the flood affected areas to monitor relief and rescue operations. According to district administration the relief teams have been rushed to the flood affected villages. Gonda, Barabanki, Bahraich, Farrukhabad, Ayodhya, Lakhimpur Khiri, Azamgarh, Gorakhpur and Pilibhit districts are still facing flood situation.
