Flooding kills 20 in northeastern Brazil

At least 20 people have died in Brazil and 50 thousand have fled their homes. Officials said, ten people were killed in the north-eastern State of Alagoasand another ten in neighbouring Permambuco. The flooding happened after some areas received 36 centrimetres of rainfall in three days. Some municipalities have declared a state of emergency.
