Flood waters recede in UP

In Uttar Pradesh, the water level of river Ghaghra and Sharda has started receding but the river Rapti is rising at some places. The river is about 65 centimetres below the danger mark in Gorakhpur with rising trend. In West UP, the traffic is stalled on Najibabad-Haridwar, Pauri-Delhi and Bijnore-Meerut highways. Several villages and cultivable land are submerged in flood water.
