In Pakistan, flood waters continue to inundate areas of southern province of Sindh. Officials say, efforts to repair an embankment have managed to save the city of Thatta. But there are reports that smaller towns in the region are now at risk. So far, the devastating floods in Pakistan have claimed 1600 lives. About 17 million of Pakistan's 166 million people have been affected by the disaster.
