Flood has been sounded  in Udhampur and Jammu districts following heavy rains and increase in water level in the water bodies.<br />''<br />'' SSP Police Control Room (PCR), Jammu, Kulbir Singh said that the has been sounded as a precautionary measure after the Flood Control Department conveyed the authorities about the rise in river water due to rains. He said, the persons residing in the vicinity of river Tawi or working in the adjoining areas of the river should avoid venturing close to the water bodies.<br />''<br />''Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Dr Piyush Singla has said that the water level increased yesterday afternoon due to heavy rains but has receded now.
