<br/>In Assam, flood situation has worsened in three districts of Barak Valley. Thousands of people marooned have been marooned as heavy rain lashed the area for the last few days. Almost all the rivers of the valley are flowing well above the danger mark inundating new areas. <br/><br/>The waters of overflowing Barak and Ghagra have entered several localities of Silchar and its neighbouring areas forcing the people to take refuge at higher places and in educational institutions.<br/>
