In odisha, flood situation is still grim as many rivers are flowing above danger mark. In North odisha, Baitarani in Bhadrak and Jajpur, Subarnarekha in Baleswar and Budabalanga in Mayurbhanj district are flowing above the danger marks. Jajpur district is the worst affected as it remains cut off from rest of the State. Air dropping of food items is being carried out for the people of maroon villages. National Disaster response force and fire service personnel have been pressed into service to conduct rescue and relief operations. A central team is scheduled to visit the state on Monday to assess the loses and damages in the floods.
