The Flood situation in Uttar Pradesh remains grim. According to central water commission Ganga is flowing above the danger mark in Fathehgarh, Kannuj, Kapur Dehat ,Kanpur and in Ballia while it is rising in Allahabad and Varanansi. The Ghaghara river is also flowing above the danger mark in Gonda and Barabanki and some other places. River Yamuna is flowing above the danger mark in Mathura and rising at many places. According to Met department the monsoon has weakened in the state and light to moderate rain fall was recorded in some place in the last twenty four hours.
