The flood situations remained grim in Uttar Pradesh with major rivers flowing above the danger mark in many places. Twenty six districts of the state are flood affected. The official death toll due to flood and rain related incidents have risen to 105 in this month only. According to central water commission report water level of Ganga, Ghagara, Yamuna and sharda have increased due to release of water form dams.Meanwhile the met department has said that monsoon has become weak in the state but light to moderate rain was recorded in some part of state.The main rivers flowing through Uttar Pradesh — Ganga, Yamuna Ramganga and Ghaghra and sharda — are still flowing above the danger mark at least in thirteen districts of According to state relief commissioner more than two thousand seven hundred villages of twenty six districts are flood affected across the state for last many days. More than two hundred villages were still flooded in Gonda Barabanki due to Ghaghara flood. Including Gonda and Barabanki The other districts worst affected by floods are, Basti, Ballia, Moradabad, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Bahraich, , Lakhimpur Kheri and Fatehgarh. According to central water commission Ganga is fowling above the danger mark in Fathehgarh, Kannuj, Kanpur dehat ,Kanpur and in Ballia and rising in Allahabad and Varanasi.
