In Uttar Pradesh more than three hundred villages of twelve districts have submerged following fresh flood. The State relief commsissioner Mr K.K.Sinha told our Allahabad correspondent this evening that Gonda Barabanki Baharich, Pilibhit, Lakhimpur khiri Bijnore ballia and Moradabad districts are worst affected. A reportFlood situation in Uttar Pradesh is still grim and Ganga, Yamuna, Ghaghra, sharda, and Ramganga rivers are flowing above the danger mark at least in nine districts of state.Road and rail traffic are also affected in many places. Meanwhile two units of National disaster relief force arrived in the state and it has been deployed in Gonda and Muradabad districts. The teams of PAC with essential rescue equipments are also working in flood affected areas. The state relief commissioner has said that rescue and relief operations are on at war footing and state government has issued six corers rupees today for relief works. Traffic movements on different highways are disrupted even on third day today and national highway between Delhi -Lucknow traffic movements through western parts of state is still closed.
