In Gujarat, flood situation in Navsari district has been improved following decreasing rain fall during the last 24 hours. Heavy water logging started receding in Vasada and Gandevi talukas of Navsari and people started returning back to their homes. About 3 thousand people had been shifted to the safer places following heavy rain and water logging in the low lying areas of Vasada. As per the latest information, wide spread rain continues in the parts of coastal areas of Suarashtra. Quoting official sources, AIR Ahmedabad correspondent reports that most of the big and medium reservoirs of South, Central and North Gujarat are over-flowing due to wide spread heavy rain during the last three days.
