In Gujarat, flood situation in Navsari district has improved following less rain fall during the last 24 hours. Water has begun to recede in Vasada and Gandevi talukas of Navsari and the people have started returning to their homes. About three thousand people were shifted to the safer places following heavy rain and water logging in the low lying areas of Vasada.Life is also returning to normal in other parts of the state with less rain reported during the last 24 hours. Our Ahmedabad Correspondent reports that most of the big and medium reservoirs of South, Central and North Gujarat are however still over-flowing.
